Card for Coaches
HANDOUT

This word doc will print 4 cards with Risk Management reminders.  It can be cut, folded and laminated to go on the coach's card ring -- it's the same size as a player card!

Goal Safety
HANDOUT

Here's a quick, simple handout that highlights how to deal with one of our biggest challenges -- making goals safe.

Vans
HANDOUT

The Federal Government bans school districts from using them, yet 15-passenger (and 12-passenger) vans are used by many teams.  Mini-vans are a better choice.  Here's an overview of the risks and how to deal with them.

Golf Carts
HANDOUT

They seem like fun -- but they can be a hazard.  Help your tournaments and leagues practice golf cart safety.

Weather
HANDOUT

This was prepared by Oregon Soccer and in some places reflects their policies - but it's got lots of good information on being safe in any kind of weather.  Please note, a lightning detection system is more reliable that the "sound" method and I know many tournaments, clubs, leagues, city parks, etc. are using them.  If you don't have a detection system, and use the "flash-bang" formula always err on the side of being more cautious - storms can move rapidly.
